FIRST of all a big thank you to all the Mancunians, other Northerners and their entourage for making our April 1 show such a belting success. Best of all was the look of puzzlement on the landlord's face during Die Clattershenkenfeitermaus' Dead Clown song. Everyone: Mike Landers, Neil 'Spider' Smith, Chris Brooker and Die Clatters did excellent stuff, preceded by the edgy Yorkshirian Debra Jane Appleby and punctuated (or is that punctured?) by a great short set from Vince Atta - who has moved to Hackney, so expect a lot more from him in Londinium!

We finally have a new backdrop to replace our rather embarrassing 'GB' logo that has hung forlornly behind us for too long now. This brilliant, copyright-infringing creation was knocked up by Duncan and his mate Drew. Our next show is worth attending just for the impoved furnishings. and because we have Andrew Bird, who is very amusingly good...

Oh, and one more thing... Duncan Edwards turns twentysomething today! Doesn't time fly when you're standing on a plywood stage talking about carp fishing?

T'NORTH is coming to Kentish Town for our very foolish April 1 show. Headlining is the very up and very coming Die Clattershenkenfeitermaus (pictured), "the worst techno band in the world". Backing them up will be the sniggerworthy Chris Brooker, Neil Smith, Mike Landers and London-dwelling winner of the recent Leicester Comedy Festival, Debra-Jane Appleby. So book now for a dose of the finest in ye new Northerne comedie. You won't see these people in London again unless it's at the Barbican or the Ambassador's with an astoundingly huge ticket price. Be advised: They will NOT talk about dunking biscuits in tea or how only posh people shop at Sainsbury's.
